WVLNGTH begins as a curated screening event and cultural platform for synthetic cinema.
The first public expression is a live premiere in Brighton, bringing selected works, artists, partners and early supporters into the same room.
Synthetic cinema refers to moving image work shaped with new creative technologies, including AI filmmaking tools, generative image and video systems, hybrid production workflows, animation, performance, sound, editing and traditional cinematic craft.
WVLNGTH is not interested in the tool for its own sake. The work has to hold up on screen.
WVLNGTH is for filmmakers, artists, studios, creative technologists, producers, brands, platforms and audiences interested in where moving image culture is going next.
Some will come to show work. Some will come to watch. Some will come to support what is forming.
We are looking for cinematic work with vision, atmosphere, authorship and intent.
Short films, moving-image pieces, experimental stories, visual worlds, music-led films and hybrid formats may all be considered.
The work does not need to look expensive. It does need to feel considered.

WVLNGTH is interested in synthetic cinema and AI moviemaking, but that does not mean every frame has to be generated.
The strongest work may combine AI tools with editing, writing, sound, performance, design, animation, live action, archive, photography or traditional post-production.
WVLNGTH launches in Brighton in 2026.
